Hey coach. What if fixing just a few small habits could unlock thousands in coaching income that, to be honest, you've been leaving behind? In this episode of The Money Coach School Podcast, I'm going to show you 6 specific places where brilliant, service-driven women like you are missing out on making more money. And I'm going to show you how to shift into habits that bring more clients, more renewals, and more income. And the best part, you don't have to launch anything new or work harder or compromise your integrity in any way to make these income-producing changes. It's all here for you inside this episode of The Money Coach School Podcast. Let's dive in.

Welcome to The Money Coach School Podcast. To really excel at coaching women, you have to be skilled, confident, and even fearless at money coaching. If you're passionate about women holding genuine money power and love supporting women entrepreneurs, then this is the show for you. Now, here's your host, money feminist Kendall SummerHawk.

Hey beautiful coach. Today we're going to talk about something that is silently costing too many brilliant women far too much income, and that is leaving coaching money on the table. If I were to audit your business today, I can guarantee you that I would find multiple places where money is being left behind. Opportunities to earn more, ways to serve more, to lead more, they're simply being overlooked or maybe even avoided. And the kicker, every one of these missed moments could easily add 5, even 6 figures to your income over a relatively short period of time. That's a lot of money to be missing out on. So let's make sure that doesn't happen for you. Because here's the truth. You're here to serve at a high level and, yes, to be paid richly for it.

So, let's start by naming that pattern that I see again and again where coaches and consultants, women, hold off money off to the side, like it's a separate conversation. Like it doesn't belong in the same room as the real work, the coaching that you're doing. And I get it. You love the transformation. You love the breakthroughs. But what's happened is you've been taught, whether it's directly or subtly, that money is something to downplay. You're not supposed to talk about it or to just whisper about it or to keep it at arm's length in some way.

And so what does that cause you to do? It causes you to hesitate to make a follow-up offer, to not prepare clients ahead of time for renewal, or to avoid reconnecting with past clients, not because you don't care about them anymore, of course you do, but because you don't want to come off as salesy. And I get it.

But here's the thing. When money is disconnected from your coaching, it's like your coaching's on one hand, money's on the other. When you look at it that way, then everything in your business takes more effort, and you make less money. Because money isn't separate from your coaching. Money is an expression of your coaching. But when the 2 are disconnected, you end up working twice as hard to create half the results.

But when you integrate money with your service, it just becomes part of your routine, part of the way that you operate, then what happens is you create alignment. You create cohesiveness. And hello, you create cash. You also stop over-efforting, and you start earning in a way that actually supports the level of impact you're here to make, because the more money you're making, the more you are making that impact with your coaching.

And that's what this episode is all about. I'm going to walk you through 6 specific ways you may be leaving money on the table, at least 1 of them, if not more, and how to fix them fast. But before we dive in, if you would please take just literally 1 second and click that follow button, that way you never miss an episode, and it also signals to the algorithm. She's such a greedy, you know what? To put this podcast in front of other like-minded women who want to lead powerfully with money. So hit that follow button, and now let's dive in.

So, the 6 places you're likely leaking coaching money or leaving money on the table. Number 1, you're not prepping clients for renewal. If renewal comes as a surprise, clients will treat it like an afterthought, or you treat it like an afterthought. Both happen. You want to start planting seeds from Day 1. You want to let your brand new client know that this is a journey and you've got the map, right? And I'll cover in just a minute here how you can help do this. But you're prepping new clients for renewal. You don't wait till the end of the coaching agreement to do that.

Number 2, you're not offering a VIP or an upgrade path. Some clients, they want to go deeper, they want to go faster, or they don't want the exact experience that you're offering to everybody else. Let them. So this could be a one-on-one intensive, it could be a special session, it could be a power hour, could be a bonus add-on. Upsells really can feel like support and not feel salesy when they're aligned with supporting clients in achieving their outcomes faster or more deeply. So a quick example of this is I offer a 2-hour, I actually offer this a couple of ways. I offer a 2-hour VIP intensive. This is only available to clients who are in my Secret Energy of Money Mastermind. And I also offer a 1-month intensive, again, a VIP intensive, but it's 1 month. I think it's 4 sessions. And it's like a VIP day, but we spread it over about 4 weeks of time, so that it's not so much of a gut-out. And it's easier, it's easier for me, and people get really, really fabulous results with that kind of intensive month with me.

All right, number 3, you haven't reconnected with past clients. Hello. You loved working with them. They loved you. So, why would you ghost them? Don't do that. Take 20 minutes this week, reach out, invite them back.

And that leads me to number 4, you ghosted your nos. So somebody didn't say yes to you 2 years ago, a year ago, 6 months ago? No problem. Time may have shifted everything. Check in, reconnect. You know, we have a saying we've taught for years in our coaching is that no doesn't mean not ever, it just means not now or not this. So things changed. I can't even begin to add up how many thousands and thousands of dollars we make in my business every year simply because of past clients coming back, people who were nos coming back. So the worst that someone can say is still not now. Big deal. But the best is a full-pay client that you didn't expect. We just had this past week. Five thousand dollars in the bank account, boom, done, from somebody who was a no a year ago.

All right, number 5, you're undercharging. You know, I could talk about pricing and undercharging all day, every day, right? So you know you're undercharging, I know you're undercharging. It's time to recalibrate. Your pricing should reflect your power and your present abilities, not your past.

And number 6, you haven't raised your rates in over a year. The year is a little bit of an arbitrary time frame, but if it's been more than a year, way too long. That's kind of like bringing a flip phone to a photoshoot. You've evolved. Let your pricing catch up. Now, I've done a number of different episodes on pricing. So for example, you can check out Episode 105, which is The Pricing Reset Your Rich Self Has Been Waiting For. Episode 107, 6 Ways to Actually Keep the New Profit After Raising Your Prices. Episode 108, Pricing is Emotional and That Can Be Your Superpower. So Episodes 105, 107, and 108, those are definitely 3 that you can dive into just as soon as you're done with this episode. And I will definitely link to them in the show notes as well.

Now that you know where the money's being left behind, let's talk about what to do with that awareness, because this isn't about piling on more tasks. It's about upgrading the way you operate, making it intentional, powerful, and always with your income goal in mind. So I'm going to go through 6 habits with you right now, and each of these habits is really simple. They don't take a ton of time, but they do create big results because they align your actions with the money that you want to make and the clients that you really want to be coaching.

So 6 new habits that will make you money and clean up leaving all that money on the table. And this is taking this from concept to cash flow. So habit number 1, prepare a client from the very beginning for renewing, which is what I talked about earlier. That means updating your onboarding process to make sure that you're mentioning that you have options available at the end of this initial coaching agreement, and then making a note in your calendar to discuss that renewing at the appropriate time.

Habit number 2, always have a VIP or an upgrade option for your coaching program available. And that's whether you're coaching somebody one-on-one or group clients. You know, one of the things that I see people miss out on so much is when they have clients in a group, they think, "Oh, well, they're already in a group. They're not going to want anything additional or one-on-one." That is so not true. I guarantee you in every single group you run, you have somebody there who wants private time with you, private coaching with you. And that's going to help accelerate or deepen their client results. So that can be a VIP day, it can be a special coaching session on a very specific topic, which is what I highly recommend. So there's lots of different ways to do this. The point is, do it.

All right, habit number 3, reconnect with past clients from as far back as 2 years ago. You can do this a couple of times a month by putting it into your calendar and then just do it.

Habit number 4, reconnect with someone who did not say yes to coaching, again, as far back as 2 years ago, and again, by putting it into your calendar. That 15 minutes that this will take to accomplish, if you do it just twice a month, can be worth thousands for you and worth the joy of coaching a new client. How awesome is that, right?

And habits 5 and 6, actually, are to evaluate what you're charging every 4 months and to make adjustments. Are you charging too little for your top-tier offer? Most of the time, I see people charging too little and really over-delivering in their top-tier offer. Are you still charging by the hour when that's an absolute 100% no-no? Has it been more than a year since you've raised your fees? You want to put your evaluation on your calendar so that it doesn't just slip by you. And I recommend doing this every 4 months.

All right, to wrap up here, the main point I want to impress upon you is this. Money isn't a part of your business that's off to the side or an afterthought. It's part of your coaching on a weekly, every session basis, right? And this episode, it's not about being greedy, it's about being more available to more money, more emotionally attuned to what clients will be wanting from you, more habitually intentional, right? More energetically clear, because when you stop leaving money on the table, you stop making money harder than it needs to be.

And I created a little statement for you, a little power statement that I want you to take with you from this episode, and you can write this down. Clients flowing in and paying me means I'm making a bigger difference. It's really that simple. Clients flowing in and paying me means I'm making a bigger difference. Let that belief lead for you. Let it shape your habits. Let it be the new standard that you operate from.

All right, thank you as always for listening. Thank you for your loyalty. I'm a Taurus, so I really appreciate loyalty. And I want to remind you, as always, you are not here to play small with your pricing or your power or your profit. You are here for more, more money peace, and to activate more money power, to build unapologetic financial success on your terms. This is your money empowerment era, and I am so here for it, and I am so here for you.

All right, thank you so much, my beautiful soul, and I will see you here in next week's episode.
