Hey coach, let's get real. The pace you set in your business is shaping your income, and it's also shaping your leadership and your sense of freedom. I'm Kendall, and whether you're craving money peace or money velocity, this episode will help you to decide, do you need to take the pressure off to create peace or the timeline to create momentum? I'm breaking down how to use time as a powerful tool, not a trap, so that you stop circling decisions and start creating real, profitable movement in your coaching business. This is how you shift from spinning to leading and how you claim the kind of financial power that comes from making bold, strategic moves. It's all inside this episode of The Money Coach School Podcast. Let's dive in.

If you're passionate about women holding genuine money power and love supporting women entrepreneurs, then this is the show for you. Now, here's your host, money feminist Kendall SummerHawk.

Hey coach, if you've been stuck in overthinking, circling your next move, or wondering whether to go all in or ease off, then this episode is the clarity that you've been waiting for. But first, here's the one shift that changed everything for me. I get asked all the time, Kendall, if you had to start over, what would you focus on? And my answer is simple. I would skip the guesswork, skip the awkward undercharging, the trying to figure it all out, and I would go straight into coaching women entrepreneurs.

Because the moment I made that decision, everything changed. Clients started saying yes with ease, my income finally reflected my deep sense of purpose. I felt grounded, I felt powerful and clear on why I was here. And that one move became the foundation of my coaching business that's gone on to generate nearly thirty million dollars. That's a lot of money, while changing women's lives around the world. And now I want this to be your turn.

All right, now into today's topic. The inspiration for today's episode came from a recent conversation with a coach who reached out to me. She had coach training, she had a few clients. She has deep passion for working with women. But she was circling a couple of basic decisions, stuck in this loop, and I get it. I've been there. The only difference now is, I have built a no-tolerance policy for indecision because it feels awful to me. Indecision feels really terrible. And I know how it drains your energy and keeps a person playing small.

I want you to write this down. Decisions create momentum, and momentum creates money.

In today's episode, we're exploring a powerful decision that every coach has to make. And this is the question I posed to her as well. Do you need to remove the time pressure to create more money peace, or do you need to shorten the timeframe to create money velocity? All right, let's take a closer look at this. And here's the insight I really want you to take in. Sometimes the path to more income is money peace, and sometimes it's velocity. You have to know which one your nervous system and your business actually needs at this time.

In exploring this topic here today, we're really looking at the powerful decision that every coach has to make. Do you need to remove the time pressure to create more money peace, or do you need to shorten the timeframe to create momentum and boundaries? All right. Let's get into this here.

The core choice is peace or velocity. And I know it sounds like money peace is the obvious choice, but that's not always what you or your business needs. And I get that every woman reaches a phase where she feels this tug-of-war between wanting more ease and craving bigger results faster. And most of the time, they try to straddle both. We say we want peace, but we keep overworking. Or we say we want fast cash, but we keep stretching timelines and procrastinating. Yeah, I see you.

Here are two powerful coaching questions, both are distinctly different. The first question is, what would happen if I took the pressure off?

Notice what happens for you when you evaluate that question. Do you relax? Do you feel a sense of relief? Or maybe you don't. I have times where my internal answer to that question is actually a feeling of disappointment or deflation, like I'm letting go of something that I actually truly, really want.

The second powerful question that is distinctly different is, what would happen if I gave myself less time, not more?

Now my own personal experience has been that cutting the timeframe gives me the kick in the butt that I need to commit, to be decisive and to go all in on what I want. Is it comfortable? No, not necessarily, but you don't grow by staying comfortable.

I want to take a closer look, a deeper dive at what money peace looks like versus money velocity.

Money peace. Let's be clear. Money peace does not mean playing small, and it does not mean putting growth on pause. What it does mean is building a coaching business that doesn't run on adrenaline. It means clean decisions, clear offers, fewer money leaks, stronger boundaries. So for example, money peace can look like saying no to low-ticket distractions, meaning buying them or trying to produce them. It can look like creating a premium offer that gives you breathing room and profit. And it looks like knowing you can walk away from hustle because your foundation is solid.

Now money peace is not passive. It's created through discipline, decisions, and boundaries. Money peace might sound like, I'm giving myself a six-month runway to reach my money goals without panic. Or it might sound like, I'm choosing to uplevel my pricing so I don't feel resentment every time I coach.

If your patterns are burnout, perfectionism, or proving, money peace may be your medicine. Just don't default to choosing money peace because you think it's going to be easier.

Now let's contrast that and look at what money velocity looks like. Velocity is defined as a measurement of both speed and direction of motion. I love that. I love that it's speed and direction of motion. Applying this to you, that means it's you making decisions that create momentum and income faster. It also is defined as the rate at which money changes hands within an economy. Isn't that fascinating that the word velocity is already applied to money? In this case, this is your economy, and the changing of hands is money coming into your bank account.

For example, money velocity can look like putting a coaching offer out there before you feel ready, or giving yourself a 10-day window instead of a three-month maybe. Or setting a cash goal and working backwards with clear decisions to reach it and releasing overthinking. It's like don't try, just do.

What I love about money velocity is that it clears decision clutter. And it's for you if your pattern is waiting, deferring, or circling in confusion or indecision.

Now one of the mistaken ideas women have about velocity is that they think it's going to be stressful. But in my experience, I found that compressing the timeframe creates a very powerful container, especially for creatives like me who can swim around forever, thinking, daydreaming, but not getting into action. For me, velocity is exciting, it's energizing, it's actually kind of electrifying, and it's definitely freeing. Money velocity might sound like, I'm giving myself 30 days to launch this and to sell five spots. Or it sounds like I'm setting a deadline, and I'm letting that deadline stretch me. Or it sounds like I am done overthinking, this offer goes live tomorrow.

If your pattern is waiting, over-researching, or deferring your power, velocity is your breakthrough. Just know that velocity is not hustle. It's momentum with leadership. You're not rushing, you're deciding. You're using time as a container, not a trap, because here's the truth, and again, write this down. You don't need more time to make money. You need more focus. You need more intention. You need more courageous action.

How do you know which you need right now, peace or velocity? Before you can answer that, there's a moment of hard truth that I need to bring up, and here it is. Most women left to their own devices won't challenge themselves hard enough to reach their full potential. Partially, this is just human nature to avoid risk. In this case, avoid risking failure. And partially it's because over the past few years in the online coaching space, what I've seen is that there's a persistent narrative that for women, everything should just flow. It should be easy. It should be effortless. And that narrative includes subtle pressuring that it's not feminine to work, that if you're not receiving money in a flowy state, that's not feminine. I have to call BS on this.

Growth is challenging because growth challenges you to step into a new version of yourself, to make decisions without the security of knowing ahead of time if it's the 'right one.' To step out where you haven't stepped out before, which feels risky to our brain. Now let me tell you, the very first time that I sold nearly one million dollars in coaching from the stage, it didn't feel all good. I was terrified. I felt vulnerable. I felt so teeny-tiny on that stage in front of, I don't know, 250, 300 people. But I also felt excited, amazed. I was steeped in gratitude. And that's what growth feels like. And that experience grew me into the coach and leader in the coaching space that I am today.

If you're using 'feeling good' as a barometer for whether to choose peace or velocity, then your choice is going to leave you underachieving what you're truly capable of, and truly that breaks my heart.

If you've been stuck in almost ready, almost clear, almost confident, then it is time to use velocity to support you in making real moves. On the other hand, if you've been using stress and pressure and adrenaline to push you forward, then choose peace because that will be your growth edge. Just be aware that you can't prioritize feeling totally comfortable at all times if you want to achieve your money goals and if you want to make an impact and grow as a woman in coaching. You choose growth because you want to grow.

And the odd thing is this, as you grow and gain capacity, you actually experience peace, and I love that. And it's because you expand your capabilities, you get more experience. Things that used to feel really stressful just don't anymore. They feel normal and natural. I could walk on a stage today, sell one million dollars worth of coaching, and I wouldn't be terrified. I would just be in the excited, grateful, grounded, powerful state.

I want you to ask yourself, what would the most supported, empowered version of you choose right now? What would she choose? Sometimes the answer is space, peace. Sometimes the answer is, you need a deadline. You need velocity. And that's the choice I'm making right now, and it's not pressure, it's not adrenaline, it's fun, it's exciting, it's momentum, it's movement. I love it.

The point is, one is not better than the other. And if you look at each as a season that you're in, you'll find yourself being able to be honest about which one you need and can benefit from the most right now.

To wrap up here, money peace gives you space to breathe, to reflect, and build. Money velocity gives you direction, boundaries, and momentum. Both are strategic, but neither works if you keep playing it safe. If you want premium fees, which I hope to gosh you do, then you need to make premium moves. You don't need more time, you need more truth. Really, you need more honesty. You don't need more thinking or research, you need a decision. Choose peace, choose velocity, but whatever you do, choose intentionally, choose powerfully. What matters is that you're honest about which one brings out your best leadership, your best decisions, and your best income results at this time, in this season for you.

And if you need to, let this episode be your permission slip to stop holding back and to make a clear move. Because money, it doesn't respond to waiting. It responds to leadership.
